“First thing you’re gonna learn is how to trim a flower!”
She lowered you onto a table with a potted flower on it.
“Getting rid of excess leaves is pretty important for their looks, this is one of the most important things we do here.”
You simply nodded your head as you tried to look up at the plant. Considering just how much bigger it was than you, trimming it was easier said than done. She already seemed to have a solution to your problem, however, as she took out a small ladder and placed it along the side of the planter. In addition, there was also a pair of hedge cutters that was fit for your size. Picking up the hedge cutter, you slowly made your way up the side of the planter, with Valerie’s giant blue eyes eagerly watching your every move.
Upon making it to the top, you look out to see just how high up you were. To Valerie it was a mere 1 foot drop, but to you it was almost like 30. Thankfully there seemed to be a ‘cushion’ in front of the planter, as her massive breasts lay on the table. Looking upwards, you saw her pretty face looming over you as she prepared to give her next instruction.
“Now all you need to do is climb along one of the leaf stems and cut where the leaf begins!”
You give her a salute and start making your way up the plant. It was a bit difficult to climb the smooth stalks, but thankfully you had good upper body strength. The stem you were on seemed to have lots of branching leaves, so you decided to get to work on the smallest ones.
Valerie was quite impressed with your progress. Never had she seen a newbie trim a flower this quickly! The more she watched you, the more she felt like it was fate that you applied to her store.
Not noticing all of Valerie’s staring, you continued trimming. Eventually, you reached the final leaf, but there was a slight problem. Its stem was quite long, and the leaf only began at the very edge of it. You slowly shimmied across it, but you could feel the stem slowly bend as you got further from the center of the plant. Acting carefully, you slowly cut away at the root of the leaf. Surprisingly enough, all was going well! That is, until the leaf finally came off. You didn’t notice it before, but it was actually weighing down the stem quite a lot. With the main weight now gone, the stem rebounded upwards, sending you flying off of it.
As you flew through the air, you tried to refocus your eyes and see where you were going to land. Fortunately, you were heading right in the direction of Valerie, who was currently in the process of blinking and didn’t seem to notice your little launch.
Maybe this wouldn’t be so fortunate after all?
