“I feel bad for the previous owner for losing their pet, but I am feeling a bit peckish right now. . .” Golden eyes looked down on the tiny traveler in hunger.
Faster than his mind could keep up with, Aether was raised towards two pretty pink lips, he clenched his eyes shut in terror as he was reminded of the food stalls that sold fairies as food.
Fairies stuffed into dumplings and steamed just enough to cook the pastry, fairies with wooden skewers stuck into them in such a way that they were still alive to see their end, even fairies stuffed with so much rice that they looked pregnant.
It seemed like he had traveled to a world where he was at the bottom of the food chain.
But as he prepared himself to be eaten alive, Aether only felt as the lips wrapped around his delicate wings. Looking behind him, the blonde watched in horror as the boy bit down and pulled the wings right out of his back.
Chewing noises accompanied the sounds of screams, although to the giant boy the noise was like the gentle ringing of bells, a sound he found to be quite pleasant.
The giant boy’s name was Xingqiu and his favourite snack was fairy wings, freshly bitten off of the fairy’s back.
Xingqiu loved fairies so much that after eating the wings he would keep the fairy in his room to look at until it would inevitably pass away.
Aether was just unfortunate enough to have decided to rest in the garden that Xingqiu usually went to to find a new fairy to keep.
