"I wish I knew!" the girl answered, her attention shifting from Alm to her how chest, and before he could do anything she started hugging herself, fondling her...own breasts "Hehe, she's pretty!"
"Uhh..." Alm could feel his cheeks warming up again, what was going on, and why was this strange girl doing...that in front of him?
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" the bizarre scene occuring in front of him stopped when he heard a scream coming from behind the pink haired girl, who turned around to see what was going on, Alm took a few steps towards the girl, standing next to her as they saw the source of the scream, a dark skinned boy with white hair, dressed with green robes, yelling his lungs out as he looked at his own hands.
"What the hell!" a high pitched voice yelled, making Alm notice the boy wasn't alone, standing close to him was a little girl with curly pink hair, dressed in a light pink dress, and in one hand she was carrying staff, staff she was examining as she had never seen it before, something that became quite clear when she started swinging it around like it was a sword.
"Oh no no no" Alm's attention shifted back to the white haired boy, who was burying his face on his hands as started sobbing, "Oh no, what would I do if Alm sees me like this!"
"Alm?" the boy asked, how could that boy know his name, if he was a friend of Celica maybe she had mentioned him? Wanting to know if that was the case, and more generally know who these people where, he asked, "How do you know my name? And why are you, are you Celica's friends?"
"Celica?" the little girl asked, raising her staff and pointing it at him, "Aren't you supposed to be Celica?"
"Yup, that's why I said, she just has to be, shame Alm isn't here to see her" the twin tailed girl joined the conversation, turning to see him, "So Celica...really glad to see ya again but how did you do this? I mean this girl's pretty and all but I'd rather met her" she pointed a thumb to her face, "Otherwise how would she fall in love with the Tobin?"
"Tobin?" Alm's eyes narrowed when he heard that name, if he had somehow become Celica, was it possible for his friends to turn into these people, because that would definitely explain with this girl had been doing...that in front of him, "Wait a moment, are saying you're Tobin, as in Ram Village's Tobin?"
A smirk formed on the boy's borrowed face as he nodded, flexing one of his arms to show nonexisting muscles, "The one and only!"
"Oh come on!" the little girl with curly hair threw her staff to the ground, stomping on it as he face got redder, "You kiddin' me, Tobin gets to be a pretty girl and I'm stuck as a brat! This is so unfair!"
"Gray, right?" Alm pointed a finger at the girl.
"Yeah, thanks for telling everyone!" the boy turned girl answered, crossing his arms as he looked to the ground, "Now I'll never meet girls if I look like this..."
"And by you're reaction I suppose you're Faye" Alm asked, turning his attention to the white haired boy, who immediately looked to his own feet as his eyes met Alm's.
"Y-Yeah..." Faye answer, giving him a small nod as she crossed her arms, wasn't it bad enough that she had turned into a boy? Why did it had to happen in front of Celica of all people!
"Man, you're good at this Celica, did you pull this thing off? Now you do all that spell stuff Kliff likes to do?" Tobin asked as he scratched his head, "Can you undo it? I'd like to meet this girl in person, you know? Oh but leave Gray like that, I like him more that way"
"Really funny Tobin, really funny" the other boy answer, glaring at his friend.
"No, I didn't do this and I'm not Celica" Alm replied, seeing Tobin's smile disappearing as he raised an eyebrow.
"So who are you?"
"I'm Alm" he explained, "I remember we were at the Thieves' Shrine and then the whole place started rumbling, and next thing I know is that we're here in this..." hd turned around to scan the place since he had spend the last few moments inspecting how his body had changed, now noticing he was standing in the middle of a crumbled stone building, and in the distance he could see rows and rows of tombstone, a graveyard? What was Celica doing in a graveyard?
"Alm!?" Faye shouted, her eyes growing wide as her whole body began to shake, this was even worse that becoming a boy in front of Celica, this was a nightmare!
"Alm, really? Now that's weird" Tobin mumbled as he stroke his chin, "Anyway, you see how cute this girl is? And look at these twins~" he could as he started...fondling that girl's breasts.
"Tobin!" Faye shouted, the embarrassment she was feeling quickly vanished when she saw her friend was doing, "You have now shame? That's not your body, what if tha girl could see you?"
"Uh? You think she could see me!?" he asked as he started looking around the crumbled building, letting go of his new assets "You're right, this could ruin my chances with her!"
Alm let out a sigh, "I'm glad you're not worried about this whole..." he looked at Celica's hands,"Body swapping thing, do you guys remember something before the glow?"
"No, just that pretty priestess healing out wounds, we told her we were from Ram Village and then she got all weird" Gray explained as he rubbed his chin, "Then she mentioned your gramps name and we told her you were his grandkid, and then she went talk to you and well...we're living what happened after that"
"She asked about my birthmark and then she gave me a weird pendant thing called Mila's Turnwheel, I think it caused this" All explained as he looked at his tight hand, he removed one of Celica's gloves and saw it, her birthmark, seeing one straight line and two curved on it's sides, looking at it felt so...odd, he remembered comparing his own with her but he had never expected it to end in his own hand, was this the cause? Were their birthmarks behind this?
"Mila's Turnwheel? What's that, some kind of holy relic?" Faye asked.
"I...I suppose, I had never seen something like it before but I guess it's probably behind this swap" Alm shrugged, did that mean they would have to find it again, if so he would have to find Celica, actually find her, but would she be alright inside that shrine? Would his other friends be...
"Wait a minute" he mumbled as he looked around himself, Faye, Gray and Tobin were here with him but they weren't the only ones inside the shrines, "Have you see Kliff, or Silque, or Lukas?"
"Now that you mentioned that..." Tobin stretched his arms as he followed Alm's eyes, "No, I haven't seen them, I think it's just the four of us, that means the others are still on the shrine? "
"I don't know, it's possible, that's just another reason to go find them" Alm answer as he started walking, searching for the cemetery's entrance.
"Go find them?" Tobin asked, his eyes growing wide at the suggestion, "Look at this flimsy arms" he swayed around the noodles this girl called arms, "You spect me to fight with these sticks?"
"Yes, Tobin, unless you want to spend all night in this cemetery, I suggest we go find Celica" Alm answer as he walked past some graveyards, each step he took was clumsy, in no small part thank to his new heels, the fact this place was filled with overgrown grass and the ground was muddy didn't help, but still he managed to stay on his feet, "Hopefully the Turnwheel would undo this"
"I agree with Alm, but I think it we have a huge problem in our hands" Faye added as she walked behind her beloved as she tried to covered herself with her new green cape.
"Swapping bodies with complete strangers?" Gray asked as he followed behind her, cursing the girl who's body he was using for wearing such a long skirt, he could already feel the mud sticking to the cloth.
"No, well yes, but apart from that, where are we? Celica left the Village to go live somewhere else right, so she spent years living in this creepy place?" she asked as she scanned the graveyard, a chill ran down her spine as she imagined how many terrors could call this place home.
"No, she was probably just passing by" Alm answer as he looked at the path outside the graveyard, a rundown path made with stones laid in front of them, on the sides there were endless rows of trees, with only the moon to light their path, he took his hands to his eyes and attempt to see the road's end, "Look!" he pointed, "Light! I think this path leads to a village or maybe a town"
"Alm, I have no idea what you're talking about, I don't see anything!" Tobin whined as he walked behind his friends, the joy he felt moments ago about being in this beauty's body banished when her heels started to sink on the muddy floor, forcing him to put all his strength in each step he took, "Ahhhhhh!" which eventually lead him to fall to the ground.
"Hahahahahaha oh man, look at you, now who's the little brat Tobin?" Gray laughed, holding his sides as he saw Tobin was now completely covered in mud, "Oh man,
"Shut up!" Tobin yelled as he pick a bit of mud in his hand and threw it at Gray, managing to hit his skirt, the other boy responded by picking his own mid ball and throwing it at his friend, and before long a rain of mud had invaded the cemetery, and both Gray and Tobin started laughing with each throw, seemingly not carrying one bit about their disgusting appearances.
"Boys, stop it!" Faye yelled, momentarily pausing the muddy shootout, "I f you keep laughing you're gonna wake up something, and I don't think we're ready to fight anything, so why don't you both keep quite and follow Alm!" she pointed to their would be leader, who was slowly walking down the stoney road.
Gray and Tobin looked at eachother, and then at the cemetery, imagining how the hundreds of graveyards surrounding them could in theory become terrors, that combined with their current bodie, was enough to convince them to follow Faye's orders.
