Hayley was looking for parenting tips online when she came across something rather interesting. Apparently some mommy blog had started wearing diapers along with her baby and the results couldn’t be better. And it led Hayley down a rabbit hole of other moms who said the same thing. Apparently They were bonding better, their babies were developing faster, even potty training became so much easier. If any of that was true Hayley couldn’t pass it up.
So when the twins were out at daycare she decided to try it out to see how she felt about it. So their she stood at home with a package of newly delivered package of diapers. All the mommy blogs recommended Mompers so that’s what she got. But it was hard to believe these things were made for adult women, they looked a bit babyish. The woman on the package even had a pacifier. Or maybe that was just to match the baby she held on her hip.
So without much else left to do she shimmied out of her pants, tore open the plastic and pulled out a diaper. All she could think about as she held and unfolded the thing was how soft it was. Not how ridiculous or embarrassed she felt just moments ago, just an odd appreciation for the plush and crinkly garment.
For someone who only had experience diapering others it was surprisingly easy to put one on herself. Just sit down in it, apply the powder (not that she had any intention of using it of course. It just…felt nice…felt right.), and get the tapes on just right. But after she got the pink diaper secured and stood up to inspect herself in the mirror she-
