This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
Sherlock Holmes, Victorian England's greatest (and only) "consulting detective" and his stalwart companion Dr. John Watson are famous throughout multiple universes. Either through a portal conveniently located in front of 221b Baker Street that allows characters from other worlds to enter Holmes' universe and Holmes and Watson to enter theirs or through counterparts to the characters we know and love who exist in Holmes' time and place, Holmes is able to tackle mysteries in a wide variety of character crossovers.

-Since Holmes and Watson take on their fair share of murder investigations, violence is allowed. However, these are mysteries, not slashers, so refrain from excessive amounts of blood or gore. Think PG-13 rating.

-Since erotic Sherlock Holmes fanfiction has probably existed for over a century, I'm not going to explicitly ban explicitly sexual content. However, for once I wanted to create an Interactive where erotic content wasn't the story's raison d'être. To cut down on any "ick" or "squick" factor, no scat, no watersports, and no fetishes or kinks centered around excessive violence or gore. Also, use your discretion. The focus should stay mostly on the mystery at hand rather than devolving into an endless orgy.

-Child characters are allowed. (Just think of Wiggins and the Baker Street Irregulars, after all!) However, any character directly involved in a violent or sexual situation must be at least 18 years old.

-Since a mystery really isn't satisfying without a good resolution, if you have a good conclusion to a storyline you may add it, with a couple of caveats. Either the preceding chapter must still have the other options open to continue the storyline indefinitely or the chapter must end with options to jump right into Holmes' next case.
