What if you were Isekai'd into a video game Avatar? GPs given. |
| Due to different categories of rules, I'll divide them up for easier reading. Because I'm bust with other things, I'll give 25GP per series added. That may not be much, but that can easily become 400 by putting four series in the four sections. Writing Rules 1) Please add the series/franchise name as an option, with games under that series/franchise to be added to that option. 2) Any video game that has a player character may be added. 3) Because you become the character, you can only introduce yourself as the character's name. 4) You have the skills, knowledge, and powers of the Avatar. 5) While you can control the Avatar, you can't go too far beyond what the character can do and break the game. 6) NPCs can't act strangely towards you. If they know the Avatar, they'll act like this is something they've always said/done. 7) If an NPC is a long term party member or an extension of game mechanics, they can be considered for an Avatar. 8) If the Avatar dies, you respawn based on the rules of the game. 'Single Avatar' Rules 1) You start at the moment that character would be playable. 2) Any, and all, selectable characters can be options. 3) If there are male/female type options at the start, that must be an option to determine which version of the game is being played. 4) If there's no plot/character contradictions, player characters that don't appear may be placed in a suitable role. 5) If the Avatar is customisable, please give an in-game style description of your character. 6) If the game forces a switch to another character, you then change to that Avatar. 'Switch Avatar' Rules 1) You can switch between any player characters at will. 2) If a player character becomes an NPC, you can still switch with them. Unless they then become unplayable ▶︎ 3) If there are male/female options, you can switch to the opposite gender at will. Unless the character is an NPC, then you switch to the NPC. 4) If the Avatar is customisable, you may switch your Avatar to another character sheet at will. 'Multiple Avatar' Rules 1) This option is limited to co-op and multiplayer games. 2) Any single player games with multiple player characters are allowed. 3) Each Avatar will be controlled by a different person, but the Avatars can only identify each other with their canon name and relationship. 4) If there are male/female type options at the start, that must be an option to determine which version of the game is being played. 5A) If there's no plot/character contradictions, player characters that don't appear may be placed in a suitable role. 5B) If there are contradictions, the alternate player may exist in the alternative version, with the two being allowed to communicate. 6) If the Avatar is customisable, please give an in-game style description of your character(s). All given characters may be used. 'Every Avatar' Rules 1) You start at the beginning of the game. 2) You control all player characters at once, with future characters only being controlled once they become playable. 3) If there are male/female type options at the start, that must be an option to determine which version of the game is being played. 4A) If there's no plot/character contradictions, player characters that don't appear may be placed in a suitable role. 4B) If there are contradictions, you may control all characters through both versions. This is optional. 5) If the Avatar is customisable, they now have all possible skills. But please include additional information if species, race, or anything of the like is included. |
