In rage, Dauphin jumped off her horse and tore one of the bandits' throats open. Blood spewed on to her clothing. She immediately took his mace and threw it to the man she had taken with her.
He jumped off and pummeled a man on the side of his head. His skull cracked then shattered causing a huge gap in his face. He collapesed to the ground. Dauphin immedatly rushed to what seemed to be the leader of the pack.
She swung towards the man. He evaded the swing and countered with his dagger and caught Dauphin across the arm ripping her skin and muscle apart. The pain made her scream. She attacked with the blade tucked close like it was a part of her arm. She swung and the man evaded, he countered cutting parallel to his previous gash. Blood flowed like a river.
Then, the man who she helped slammed his mace in to the leader's back. The force broke his spine in two. Dauphin turned around to find the leader on his knees and walked towards the disabled man. She grabbed his head and removed it from his body.
The leader's followers ran away like frightened puppies.
