Eric’s mind could not get beyond the instant when his body had turned…squishy.
How the hell did that happen?
As a scientist, he didn’t really care for surprises. He liked things to proceed in an orderly, predictable fashion, in a manner he could control.
That’s why being shrunk wasn’t freaking him out. That’s what his device was supposed to do.
But turning into a squishy, malleable object. That was definitely an unanticipated and more than a little disturbing side effect.
Zac’s loud voice intrudes into Eric’s thoughts. “What the hell happened to you, bro?”
No longer completely sure, Eric only shakes his head. He needs to get back to normal as quickly as possible.
Suddenly, Zac grabs him again. His brother begins pulling at him, holding his feet and hands secure. Eric is aghast when he feels his body being stretched into thinner and longer.
“Whoa!” Zac exclaims. “This is so weird!”
He watches your stretched body slowly begin to snap back, more or less, into its proper shape, if not its normal size.
Intrigued, Zac grabbed his brother again, rolling him into a ball and then dropping him in a pocket.
