You look around you see buildings that were once houses, stores, etc. Across the landscape you notice craters everywhere like there has been a meteor shower or something. Not a sole a round around anywhere. Speaking of sole you suddenly trip into a big hole. You climb out the hole and realize its not a hole but a giant paw print. Looking around you realize that these craters are actually giant paw prints from giant(s) stomping these building into the ground. What happened here was not recent. Looking into these pits I can see vegetation and that inside these building that are mostly standing have rotted or rotting material. Meaning the open roofed destroyed buildings had suffered weather damage, as evident to the fact the some water has run off into the pawprints making murky ponds. Whatever happened here could have happened weeks, months, or even years ago.
Looking around you tried to find anything that could be salvageable. Clothes, food, native currency, anything that could be helpful to survival. Hopefully whatever or whoever did this won't come back. Looking around being cautions of anything that could like be hiding in these old buildings. A cock snake nest perhaps or worse. You spent what felt like an hour and turn up empty handed. The sun is beating down on your neck and casting no shadows tells you it must be noon. Or at least close to lunch time, which sounds accurate because you suddenly fell hungry. You don't when it was the last time you ate something. If you had to guess as to why you haven't found anything to eat is because an animal probably claimed them or more accurately on the basis you haven't found anything of centric value, bandits, homeless people, or survivors of this tragedy may have took everything that was considered valuable and left a long time ago.
You collapse on your knees rubbing your stomach. Hot, tired, naked, lost, no memory, and now hungry. You don't what else to do until suddenly you hear something approaching...
