Ash thought for a moment about his predicament. He decided to wait for Misty to finish digesting her latest meal, hoping to buy himself some time.
"We can wait a while, I guess."
"Okay, great!" Misty said, the smile returning to her face. "Now, let me show you how my digestive system works. You saw them go in my mouth and down my throat, so I guess we can start with my belly. Here, listen to it, you can hear it grinding against them."
Misty dropped Ash onto her stomach, pressing him against it. Sure enough, Ash could hear a number of loud, squelching gurgles coming from within her gut. Ash was also surprised to hear the terrified cries of the couple trapped inside Misty's belly. The giantess continued her lecture.
"Since I didn't chew them, digestion didn't really begin until they entered my stomach. Now that they're in there, its filling up with acid and bile. Its also churning them around, so that they'll be completely covered by my digestive juices. Once they've been broken down enough, my stomach will open up and send them down into my intestines."
Roughly an hour passed before Misty's stomach started forcing its occupants into her small intestine. Though delirious, they were still alive, and fought vainly as her belly contracted. Ash felt them squirming beneath him.
"Well, it feels like they're in my intestines now. My small intestine will finish absorbing whatever nutrients they had in them, until they're nothing more than a couple of little brown lumps."
For several hours Ash and Misty listened as Misty's prey took the winding journey through her intestinal tract. The lovers ceased to fight against their fate, their cries fading out beneath the roaring din of Misty's bowels. Feeling a deep rumble from with her abdomen, Misty knew they were nearing the end of their journey.
"At this point they're somewhere in my large intestine, along with what's left of my dinner from last night. About the only thing left of them by now would be their skeletons, plus maybe a few spare vitamins. It won't be long until their tour of my body is finished."
Misty took a break from her lecture and picked up Ash, cradling him in her palm.
"I hope you're liking the lesson so far, Ash. If you want, I can show you what happens to my food once it's done digesting, or I can just eat you now."
