Sylvia stays alive, at a cost.

You ponder silently for a minute.
Can you really do that to her? She HAS been rather nasty to you since you ate her, and after you refused to digest her too! Hmm, it's tough, but...
"I think I've made up my mind Miss."
Fulpin chuckles.
"I can guess which choice you've made too my lad. Now, take this," she hands you a vial of bright blue liquid, "and swig it down. Wait ten minutes. With Sylvia unconscious she won't drink any of it. That will protect you from the effects of this vial that you drink when the ten minutes are up." She hands you a second vial with a brown flecked look to it's contents. "This will soak into Sylvia there inside you and will start to affect her hormones, metabolism and brain. By morning she won't be her nasty self any more. Then, tomorrow between 8 and 9 AM you should bring her up and make sure she sees you for the next few hours. I'm giving you the day off school tomorrow for this. This treatment will impress her on you. After a while you'll see she becomes fixated on you. Once her eyes never leave yours willingly she is done and will do whatever you wish. Ready lad?"
You gulp.
"Y... yes Miss."
"Well then, drink up then, and I think you can start work with us three days from now Friday evening should be a good time to start and will give you time to break your new partner in." She grins and stands up abruptly. "Speaking of partners, since Sylvia will no longer be a capable student you'll be keeping Maria and Lucy as your partners for the rest of the semester. I'm sure it'll be... interesting, to practice on them during the course."
