It had been three years since the defeat of Malo myotismon and the establishment of a lasting relationship between the real world and the digital world. Gatomon, the digimon partner of the vaunted eigth child Kari prowled the rooftops as she made her way towards home. Gatomon always prowled the rooftops after dark as it helped her relax, and because she was always on the prowl for digimon criminals who were trying to hide out in the real world. (Though this was rare, now that the digital worlds existance was now widely known the police has upgraded their tactics to include building sized fire breathing monsters.)
What Gatomon did not know was that when she got home that night, something would happen that would lead to a drastic change in her life....
