Mike attempts to save Vanessa

Mike had seen Trevor make it to the lodge. He probably would have been right behind him, but he tried to reign in his temper. Vanessa had always told him 2 things, 1 he worried too much and 2 he always overreacted and it normally lead to trouble.

He knew it wasnt safe for vanessa to be in the lodge with Trevor. He had always came off as a wolf in sheep clothing to Mike, but Vanessa swore he was on the up and up. Several minutes passed and Mike began to make his approach, trying make sure he wasnt seen from the window normally would have been easy, if the weather wasnt literally trying to attack him.

Finally ,making it to the side of the house, as luck may be it, there lay an ax by a woodpile. This would give him an advantage. He moved near the back door hoping for the air of suprise.

Deep breath
1.....2.... "holy hell, damn sisters." He stepped up and with a steel toed boot he kicked the back door in, ax ready to swing....
