With the restaurant all to herself, Faith saw no problem in helping herself to the leftovers. Better than letting them go to waste, right?
There was a great big vat of thick buttery mashed potatoes. That would do nicely. She grabbed a chair and sat herself down in front of it. With her spoon at hand, she started to shovel the huge vat into her gut. She didn't think she'd be able to finish it all in one sitting. After all, there was more here than could possibly fit in her stomach. She would just load up until she was too full to have another mouthful.
It was a solid plan, and for the first fifteen minutes, she thought it would work just fine.
But to her surprise, she found that the fullness wasn't coming. She continued eating, figuring she was just extra hungry. The hunger didn't relent. She just wanted more and more. Once half an hour had elapsed, she tossed the puny little spoon aside and started eating with her hands, getting it all over herself, but she didn't care. She needed more. She needed it. She needed more. So much more.
Eating as fast as she could, she could feel her stomach getting full, but not feeling full. She needed to feel full soon, right? Physically, she needed to feel full before she burst. But her stomach continued to stretch to accommodate her meal.
It wasn't long before the vat of mashed potatoes was empty, and Faith was looking very full.
Letting out a belch, Faith patted her stomach - it was very full. But it didn't feel that way. She felt like she could continue eating with no ill effects. She was worried.
So worried that she went straight for a vat of green beans and began to shovel them into her mouth as well. She followed that up with some ramen noodles, followed by chicken, then steak... Not eating all of it, mind you. Just taking bits and pieces of everything.
Soon, though, Faith found she couldn't quite move normally. Her stomach was swelling to such enormous proportions that it was like smuggling a globe under her shirt.
Still, she thought, she wasn't full yet, and she wanted dessert. So she took an entire gallon of cookies n creme ice cream and headed out the backdoor, grabbing another spoon as she went.
Waddling down the alleys, Faith looked down at her enormous stomach. How had this happened? How was she able to eat all of this? Bite after bite of ice cream went down her throat and into the swell that swayed back and forth just ahead of her.
An hour later, Faith was laid out on the ground, leaning against a building and slurping down whatever ice cream had melted. She tossed the container in a dumpster and slumped against the wall, her stomach now entirely in her lap. She couldn't help but pout as she couldn't pull her shirt down over her stomach.
On the plus side, the insane hunger had subsided, and she was now content. Not exactly stuffed like she should've felt. Definitely not feeling as ill as she thought she would've. She felt... good. She gave her stomach a slap. A small smile on her sticky lips.
"Oh man...," she sighed contentedly. "Belly - you and me are gonna have a lot of fun..."
A small voice in her head told her, this is wrong, but she found it remarkably easy to ignore...
