This choice: Taller Than Nikki, And Still Growing • Go Back...Chapter #5Taller Than Nikki, And Still Growing by: Unknown Nikki may have been new at this mind control, but she certainly got the hang of it in quick time. Although Victoria was responsible for imparting this knowledge on her, Nikki didn't want to be runner up to ANYONE. She was hooked on the notion of being the tallest living human of all time, past, present and well into the future! Yet, Victoria was now easily a few dozen feet taller than her again, and didn't look like she would be slowing down any time soon.
For her part, Victoria wasn't sorry she shared this secret with Nikki. She was respectful of anyone that had the determination to follow their dreams. Still, she also imagined herself as the world's tallest being of all time, and now realized she would have to fight to capture that title. What neither woman did know is how far they would have to take this before the other one admitted defeat. By the time Nikki resumed focusing all her thoughts and concentration on the chant of "you are bigger than big, you are bigger than big," Victoria had already brought her own height to over 400 feet tall.
Nikki was sitting upright, with an lengthening leg planted on either side of her. She briefly marveled at the way Victoria's feet were rapidly becoming longer and longer, overtaking everything in their path. Nikki finally stood up and could feel her own body start to pick up the growth pace. By the time she reached 200 feet tall, Victoria was saying hello to 900.
Scores of people from the surrounding office park had come out to witness this growth spectacle. While the two women were engaged in a classic height fight, they seemed to be giving little regard for what was happening way, waaay below at their expanding feet. Nikki was doing an excellent job of narrowing the size gap. She had just surpassed 900 feet in height, while Victoria was nearing 1100. Parked cars and little security booths were being pushed aside and squashed. The police arrived on the scene about 15 minutes ago but were clueless as how to stop what they seeing. So far, thankfully, no one had been hurt.
Time passes. Victoria refused to even acknowledge Vikki, let alone deal with her. Vikki eventually outgrew Victoria at the 3000 foot mark, but couldn't rest on that achievement. When both women entered the 2 mile region, Vikki make an offer of peace. "Where are we going with this?" said Vikki. "Aren't we big enough?" "Maybe you are, but I'm not," said Victoria. "Let me outgrow you by at least 4 times and I'll call a truce." Vikki thought about what Victoria just said. "If I rise no higher than your knees, you'll be happy?" "Yes," said Victoria. Vikki wasn't about to agree to that. "No way," said Vikki. "May the bigger woman win." Both then entered deep, deep concentration and set about to outgrowing the planet. Victoria was about to exceed 5 miles in height, as her head passed through the clouds. Vikki was mere feet behind her.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
