Chapter #4A changed imp by: Logan   (Author's Note: Given the interactive story limitations that free users have, I'm not sure what's gonna happen when I try posting this chapter, but here goes nothing.)
Impmon stood outside the Nonaka residence feeling very nervous. "Should I even be here right now," he asked no one in particular? "I guess I have to tell them eventually, especially after what he told me." He then reflected on everything that happened since the D-Reaper was defeated.

About 10 months ago, only 2 months after the D-Reaper's defeat...

Once Digimon were able to return to the material world, Impmon had been hesitant to do so himself; he feared that if he let himself become Ai and Mako's partner again, they'd treat him like a toy again, which was the last thing he wanted. After 2 months of consideration, he gave it a shot, only to find that they had found a new partner; a Gabumon who seemed to enjoy being treated like a toy. Impmon initially felt heartbroken that his old partners had replaced him, but that feeling was quickly replaced by the realization that he'd never have to worry about being treated like a toy again. "Wow I dodged a bullet on that one," he thought as he went to find a new Tamer, preferably one over the age of 7.
He didn't have to look far, though; he met a young boy about 3 years older than Takato and the others. His name was Fuyuhiko, and he and Impmon hit it off quite well; after obtaining a Digivice from Hypnos, their relationship as Tamer and Digimon became official. After about 4 months together, Fuyuhiko learned about Impmon's pranking habits. He didn't mind at first, but after another 4 months, he grew tired of it and made Impmon knock it off, which Impmon did (albeit reluctantly). Fuyuhiko also told Impmon that he should let anyone he's ever pranked that his pranking days were over and apologize to them, much to his chagrin.
(Author's Note:
To whom it may concern: no, Impmon's Tamer isn't Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu from Danganronpa 2, but I had hoped for you to make that connection. I gave Impmon's Tamer the name "Fuyuhiko" as a reference to how Impmon and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu share the same English voice actor. I'm not kidding; look it up if you want.)

Back in the present...

"If I have to tell everyone," he thought, "I'll have to tell Rika and Renamon eventually. I might as well start with them." He wasn't sure they'd believe him or accept his apology, but he had to do it anyway. "I just hope they don't attack me on sight." With that, he opened the door and walked in.
"Whoa, these girls are loaded," he said, awestruck by how expensive the house looked on the inside. Rika was fairly wealthy; one of the perks of having a model for a mother, naturally. As such, she and her family lived in a pretty impressive house, one that was much bigger that its exterior would suggest. "I can't get distracted by that," Impmon said, shaking his head. "I need to find those girls and apologize for all the pranks I've pulled on them and their friends."
He eventually found them asleep in Rika's bedroom, but he was a bit surprised by what he saw; Rika and Renamon were lying on the bed, hugging each other tightly and nuzzling each other. Stifling a giggle, Impmon climbed up onto the bed, placed a hand on each of them and shook them awake. Yawning, both girls woke up and Impmon climbed down off the bed. When the girls saw him, they immediately got annoyed.
"What do you want, Impmon? This had better be good," Renamon said, glaring angrily at Impmon; if looks could kill, Impmon would've died right then and there. "H-hi, girls," Impmon nervously replied. "My new Tamer Fuyuhiko made me give up pranking, and h-he wants me to apologize to everyone I've ever pranked." Rika's annoyance faded and confusion took its place. She asked; "New Tamer? You had a Tamer before?" Impmon nervously replied, "It's a long story, and it's really not important. I-I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm sorry for pranking you and your friends, and that my pranking days are over."
Renamon's eyes narrowed. "That sounds sketchy to me; how do I know that this isn't a prank?" Impmon flusteredly replied, "I-it's not! Honestly, it's not! I promise!" Rika sighed; she had only just woken up and wasn't in the mood to argue. "Fine, we'll believe you for now," she said. "But just know that we're holding you to your promise; if you prank us again, so help me I'll--" "I won't, I won't!" Impmon shouted; he looked and sounded absolutely terrified."
"Good," Renamon said, still skeptical. Impmon breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you. Well, I don't want to take up anymore of your time, and I still have to have this same conversation with all 5 of your friends, so I'd better get going," he said. "I'll let them know you're coming," Rika said, reaching for her phone. "Thanks," Impmon said. "I guess I'll see you around." And with that, he left.
"You don't really believe him, do you," Renamon asked? "I don't trust him as far as I can..." she trailed off when she realized what she was saying. "As far as you can what," Rika asked? She was busy texting Takato and the other Tamers that Impmon was on his way. "I was about to say 'as far as I can throw him,'" Renamon began, "but then I remembered that I could probably throw him over the horizon if I wanted, so that analogy wouldn't really work." "I see," Rika said, hitting the "send" button on her phone. "Well, I don't really trust him either, but we just woke up and I wasn't in a mood to argue, so..." "I guess that makes sense," Renamon said. "So, what are we gonna do today?"

Option 1: The babies inside the girls start to grow. The sight and feeling of their bellies swelling with new life makes the two of them feel scared, aroused, and happy all at once.
Option 2: The babies inside the girls need nourishment. An intense hunger hits the girls and they need to eat.
Option 3: Nothing happens, and the girls are fine... at least for now.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
