"Well," Rika said, "remember that girl with the Lillymon who helped out with our battle yesterday?" "I think she said her name was Tsumugi," Renamon replied with a nod. "Well, during the battle, she asked if she could train with us today," Rika began, "and I said yes. At the time I didn't realize that we'd end the battle feeling completely exhausted, so now we can't just relax all day." "I think that agreeing to train might have been for the best," Renamon retorted. "If that battle any indication, we could stand to get stronger." "I guess you're right," Rika said. "Well, then, let's get some breakfast before she gets here."

To whom it may concern: no, the Tsumugi mentioned here is not Tsumugi Shirogane from Danganronpa V3, but, like Impmon's Tamer in the last chapter, the reference is there... the reference being that Tsumugi Shirogane and Lillymon from Digimon Adventure (and, by extension, Digimon Adventure tri.) are both voiced by Dorothy Elias-Fahn, hence why this Tsumugi has a Lillymon as her partner. Yes, I will continue to make references like this, and I may or not point it out like this and give you guys voice actor trivia when I do it.)
After Rika and Renamon ate breakfast, Rika decided to change clothes. She pulled out a new shirt and an odd-looking pair of pants. Renamon took notice of this and asked, "What's with those pants? Is your mom foisting some of her modelling outfits on you again?" "Sort of," Rika replied. "This is a newly-designed pair of workout pants designed for Digimon Tamers. The fabric supposedly clings to the wearer like a second skin, yet it also allows the skin to breathe. It also expands to almost ANY size, at least from what mom told me. And has some pseudo-belt thing around the waist that you can hook Digivices to, so that's useful."
Rika then changed into the new pants and looked at herself in the mirror. "Hmmm... They fit just fine. And the fabric is skin-tight like mom said. It's letting my skin breathe just fine." She then hooked her Digivice to the "belt" and it stayed on surprisingly well. "Ok so it does exactly what it's supposed to do. There's gotta be a catch of some kind." She then took the pants off and looked at the tag. "Of course there's a catch; 'DRY CLEAN ONLY.' Probably should've seen that coming." With that, she slid the pants back on. "Well, Tsumugi should be here any minute..."
