Matt decided to stay in the house rather than risk something happening to his tiny fly body in the big outside world.
After all, he should be safe in his own house.
He remained on the wall, his six limbs securely attached to the vertical surface, and watched his sister and her friends leave the house.
Once they were gone, he flew around the room, getting more familiar with his new wings. Buzzing from place to place became boring quickly, and he settled on the coffee table next to a huge glass bowl that held the family's various keys.
He realized he felt hungry, which prompted Matt to debate what he should do next.
Should he fly into the kitchen and look for some food?
Or maybe he should fly upstairs to his room. Looking at his room and belongings might be rather cool. He might even figure out some means out of his dilemma.
