Matt buzzed upstairs and made his way inside his bedroom.
Everything now looked so huge! He flew in circles around the room and finally settled on the windowsill. From his perch, he could scan most of his room.
He had hoped something, anything, might help him solve his problem. How would he ever get back his human body without help?
He lifted into the air again and flew to his dresser. Landing on the flat surface, he stared into his mirror. Matt saw what he had become. He looked monstrous!
He didn't have long to dwell on those thoughts when he heard a noise.
Footsteps!? Someone coming upstairs.
Could Kellie and her friends be back already?
Matt flew into the air again an instant before his best friend walked into his bedroom.
"Matt!" Andy shouted. "You here?"
His friend looked so huge!
Andy wore a pair of tattered sneakers, baggy jeans and a red T-shirt. His shaggy head of light brown hair cascaded down around his face.
He buzzed toward his friend's face. He tried to scream for help, to shout Andy's name, but he couldn't produce any words.
Matt realized he could only produce a buzzing noise with his wings.
He flew closer to Andy, who looked absolutely colossal.
Andy's billboard face stared at him.
"Andy! Please, Andy! It's me!"
Matt hovered in front of Andy's face for more than a terrifying second.
Andy's immense voice boomed like some kind of god. "Stupid pest!" Andy exclaimed, raising a hand at swatting at the fly.
Matt saw the advancing hand and managed to fly out of range.
He flew across the room and settled on the window sill.
Matt could not believe his best friend had tried to swat him.
And it wasn't over.
Andy spied the tiny fly on the window sill.
He crossed the room, picking up one of Matt's comic books from a stack on a table.
