Summoning the God...

“I have come to see the great God who is Bmao!” you cry out, hoping against hope that you have chosen the right words. She cast her eyes skyward and let out a heavy sigh.

“You boys are so crazy,” she muttered, then backed away from the door. Was it the right answer? Was it?! “Come on in. Brian is upstairs playing on his computer.”

Warily, with your heart in your throat, you edged inside the door, peering around you like an animal being led to the abattoir. The room was so small compared to the great halls of Mylandia.

“Brian!” the entity suddenly shouted, causing you to jump back in terror. She started toward a set of stairs leading up to a foreboding upper chamber. “Brian, take off your headphones!”

What mom?!” a voice thundered from the very ceiling.

“Your friend is here!” she suddenly turned to face you, causing your blood to freeze in your very veins. “What’s your name, dear?”

“Uh,” you stammer uncertainly. The goddess-mother of the Great Creator merely stared at you curiously. You clear your throat and answer, “Gil.”

“Gil is here!” she yelled toward the stairs.

Who?” the voice rang out from above your head, causing you to flinch.

“Gil!” she bellowed again, looking very impatient. “Stop playing that silly video game and come down right now!”

“Okay!” the voice of God seemed annoyed. This did not bode well. The mother-goddess sighed with irritation and cast you a glance that seemed to convey some kind of emotion, but you dared not guess at her meaning.

“I don’t understand how you kids can play for hours on those online video games like that,” she said as she started to leave the room toward another area that smelled distinctly of charred meat. Your mouth began to water.

“You should spend more time playing outside,” she was saying to you. Was this a command? “I suppose you and Brian play together on that Ever Chest game, don’t you?”
