This choice: Kate, Ambers younger, 15 Year old sister opens the door • Go Back... Amber was about to leave when Kate, The Late Jennifers' younger sister, opened the door to greet her beautiful best friend. Kate wasn't much like Amber or her older sister, as she tended to be nicer and more good-natured. At least, as much as a fifteen year old high school freshman who wanted to be popular could be. While her personality wasn't much like Jenn, they could easily identified as sisters, with Kate wearing her brown hair long like her sisters, and her bright, engaging green eyes. Kate wore a pink tank top underneath a pea-colored t-shirt with jeans and a pair of pink checkered shoes. Amber scowled at her as she opened the door.
"Hi, Amber!" Kate said with a smile.
"I was about to go...way to take, like, six hours to answer your door." Amber said. Kate shrugged.
"Sorry, I didn't hear it until the last second...uh, wanna come in?" Kate asked, smiling her pretty smile.
"Whatever." Amber said, stepping past Kate rudely. Kate was used to this behavior, and it didn't bother her much. The pair were usually very close, but neither mistook the other for an equal. Kate, having watched her sister for years, knew what popularity was. One girl was the most beautiful, the most powerful, and that was Amber. Kate could be beloved by everyone, but she was one of Ambers' clique, and she never deluded herself into thinking anything else. Amber was in charge. "So, what are you doing?" Amber asked, her mood lightening.
"Not much, I was waiting for Jenn to get home. You didn't see her, did you?"
"Nope." Amber said, scowling again slightly. She and Jenn hated each other, and for obvious reasons. Jenn disliked Amber because Amber was an up-and-comer. Amber would rule the school in a few years and Jenn forgotten. Amber hated Jenn(and would be ecstaticly happy to know she had squished her under her left foot) because Jenn ALREADY ruled, and Amber was ready for her reign.
"Huh. Must have decided to hang with one of her girls. No biggy. What are you up to?" Kate asked, grabbing Amber a soda out of the fridge. Amber accepted it without gratitude and drank it. It was then that Kate looked down and saw a little red mark on the floor of her kitchen. "Amber! Did you track something in?! Mom's gonna flip!" Amber looked at the bottom of her foot.
"Dunno, I must have stepped on a bug..." Amber said, suddenly thoughtful. She looked down at her purse and set it down, looking inside at the 'microsizer'. She lifted it out and looked at it.
"What's that?" Kate asked.
"I found it on YOUR porch. You tell me." Amber said, showing it to Kate but not letting her touch it.
"Microsizer? What does it do?" She asked, looking at Amber. Amber smiled.
