"We must at least try and check what is the occasion. But I doubt they are trying to get into a hospital, or they already would have stopped on the last 2 blocks." Gene says and accelerate the car. "Thank you, God. This won't be such an awkward car ride."
The car chase then started. The other car, as a response of noticing the police car approaching, picked up even more speed. The road was empty, fortunately, so there wasn't much risk of accident. Better yet was that the engine of the chased car actually overheated and broke, forcing the car to stop.
"Lucky?" Sam asks as Gene stops right behind the broken car.
"Yes. Much easier than I thought." The larger policeman says and leave the car.
Sam soon follows and tries to grab his gun, just to find out he was not carrying a gun at all. He started hoping things won't go very bad and if it does, then that it won't have any gun involved. Gene is a big guy who seems to be able to throw a strong punch.
"Nonononono..." Murmured repetitively the driver of the car in a very nervous way. The said driver was a Haunter pokemorph with a small criminal record, all of them were about use of drugs. Gene knocks on the windows lightly, drawing the attention of the scared drugged Haunter.
"I recommend you to leave this car and come with us without much struggle. What do you say?" Gene asks while Sam just watches behind him.
