You are taken back as he quickly steps towards you and grabs one of your fleshy, jiggly belly rolls.
"You look just like one of my friends," says Ted.
You yelp as Ted squeezes the roll he's holding.
"Don't you like your size?" he asks.
"No.. I'm pretty embarrassed, actually," you finally say in a quiet voice, trying not to look at Ted.
"I think it's great. Being skinny is a real bore. I know someone who’s deliberately trying to gain weight," Ted says and then jiggles your belly some more.
"He's trying to GAIN weight?? I've always wanted to lose," you reply. Secretly, though, being fat is the best thing you can think of - you just can't admit that to yourself.
"Well, I still think being fat is great. Hell, I'd love to be a bit bigger myself, or have more fat friends," Ted remarks.
His words stun you. After a minute of incomprehension, you finally say something.
