"Yknow..." I heard her thinking in her mind, "I really like that Bobby Gaines kid..."

I gasped almost out loud and saw her glance at me. Our eyes met briefly and we both slanted our pupils away before the other could fully realize it but she backed away, kind of abashed.

Wow.. I thought to myself, what now?
