I am here to give your piece, "Why Me?"
a review for the "Earth Day Challenge"!!
"Vast Blue Seas & Oceans" (Strong Points)
After reading, what I first thought was... "This is a poem with an attitude!" You expressed your words almost negatively... making the speaker seem like a heartless, uncaring person towards Mother Earth, but then... you gave it an ending so wonderful-- the speaker's realization... This piece felt very real. Not hypocritical... like some people are, saying they care about our planet but not really doing anything except help destroy it more. It was honest and it was true... it reached me.
Grammar/Spelling/Punctuation-- Excellent!!
"Convenient, Comforting Technology" (Weak Points)
Can't find anything.
"Supposed-To-Be Caretaker- Man" (Suggestions)
None.
"Wide, Warm Land Forms" (Additional Chatter)
Thank you very much for sharing this piece. It was beautiful... and truly captivated me from start to finish... the negative attitude for the most part was entertaining, almost funny... and then you found the perfect ending for it and-- BAM! It was awesome.
