![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A Review from "SIMPLY POSITIVE GROUP" ![]() Hello, GERVIC ![]() I was searching for something to review from your portfolio when this caught my attention. I like reading emotional, touching poems and this seemed like a perfect topic for me to read. I have written two or three poems myself about soldiers going to war and their wives left behind, mourning the loss of their love and at the same time appreciating and being proud of their husbands who served for the country and protected the land and the people in it. The title of your poem made the reader remember all the sad, cruel and violent events happening all over the world, the killings, the murder etc. It made me all the more sad and everyday feels like a battlefield. The flow of your poem was very good, there was no interruption and the vocabulary you had used in your poem was strong, effective in painting a vivid image in the reader's mind, conveying the sad emotions to her as she felt for the blood shed, all the lives lost and yet it continues, the war goes on, every single day. The beginning of your poem was very strong, it made the reader aware and curious as well as a bit scared to read that the other army was attacking at night, in the dark, and the other army probably doesn't even see them coming. My favourite stanza from your poem was the last one because it touched me deeply. ![]() ![]() Write On! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ![]() ![]()
