Hi nanausakidesu ![]() Happy WDC Account anniversary! I am reviewing your work as part of "Anniversary Reviews ~ Summer Break" ![]() The brief description of your poem was, albeit, only three words, but there was a lot of depth in them and they made the reader stop for a while, thinking about them. It enhanced your poem indirectly by grabbing the reader's attention right from the beginning. I remember having written a poem in the dark and psychological genre along similar theme with the title "Rotting Inside." You have presented the apparent and the opposite cases quite well in personalities and appearances. In these days, one cannot guess if a person is being genuine or not because we all have learned the art of hiding our true selves under a mask and never letting anyone inside and giving them a chance to learn the truths about us that we feel vulnerable about. The last stanza was eye-opening and quite different from the rest of the poem which is why that is my favourite. In the entire poem, the reader learned that everything we see is a facade but then there is a particular person and maybe that is just the truth, not a facade, a false face. It was a very brilliant concept and ending. Loved it! Once again, a very happy WDC anniversary! Thank you for sharing your work with us!
