| Growing Old Isn't For Sissies Slowing down doesn't mean quitting the race! (Humor) |
| Greetings, Ken! I found this amusing ditty with the Random Read and Review button Ahh, old age. I've spent most of my life around those older than myself, and indeed feel more comfortable around old people than young people, truth be told. I'm still young, but there are subtle hints that I'm not as young as I used to be. Sometimes I feel rather old and defeated. Other times I feel chipper and... Ugh. When was the last time I felt like that? I don't like songs that mourn the loss of youth; you know the kind. Even Imagine Dragons has a couple of those, one appropriately titled Younger. I guess I can't relate yet, or I don't like the attitude. One must always maintain a positive outlook, even when the looking outward is shrinking. One's mind can be busy at any age, thinking, wondering, praying, writing, doing all the little things that keep us alive. I enjoyed this: it's witty, cheerful, lighthearted, silly and easy to read. You have a good font size and notes at the bottom. It was a pleasure to read, and I can't think of anything to suggest for improvement except possibly to choose a third genre such as Experience, Entertainment, Family or Drama. Take care, thanks for sharing, and keep writing
