I found this item via the Read & Review feature.
First impression: A very atmospheric poem with good, concrete imagery.
Opening: The name "Coldwater Creek" is very evocative.
Ending: Completes the meditative last-line repetitions of "bones" and "hearth."
Suggestions: The only place I stumbled a bit was "Young cubs could from hiding;" the lack of a verb there was puzzling to me and seemed out of place with the other lines.
Overall: I especially liked the repetition here, as well as the vivid images. It paints a clear picture of the wilderness. And the poem is well-formatted and easy to read.
