Get Ready!
When will there be so many cool and interesting contests around at once that you don't know where to start?
When will the rewards for reviewing be sky high?
When will there be so many auctions and raffles and other activities happening that you can spend hours just watching the forums?
Arguably the most exciting week on Writing.Com each year: the annual Writing.Com Birthday Bash. Clear your calendar for the first seven days of September - or for the whole month - because there is going to be SO. MUCH. TO. DO!
Old contests will wear a new dress for the party and offer special prompts and special prizes for writers. New contests will pop up just for the one month to get you to spread your creative wings.
Seasoned activities will show off revamped pages and offer a plethora of things to do for you that revolve around writing, reviewing, and socializing.
Some pages will give you the opportunity to earn or win gift points. Others will ask you to spend gift points. In either case, this week will be one for which you want your coffers to be ready. Refuel on gift points by purchasing them here: Writing.Com Shop
Just like a party in real life, the Writing.Com birthday party will leave you happy, exhilarated, exhausted, and with a bunch of new friends. Be sure to make your daily attendance mandatory. Once you allow it to sweep you up, you'll be surprised that the rest of the world isn't celebrating the site birthday like a national holiday.
Keep an eye out for the many announcements on the newsfeed and the revolving  icon in the left sidebar that gives you direct access to the party forum as soon as it opens. "Writing.Com Party Central 2025!"
