About This Newsletter

For me and Baha'is across the planet New Year is the first day of spring.


Letter from the editor

This year I plan to celebrate Naw-Ruz, the Baha'i New Year, with prayer, meditation, and journal/blog writing.

Across the planet Baha'i communities will celebrate with parties. At these parties Baha'i scriptures and prayers are read, food and nonalcoholic drinks are served, and the youth present skits and sing.

Some of my fondest memories are going to Naw-Ruz parties with my mother. Mom always enjoyed listening to the prayers, readings, and songs. She also enjoyed socializing with other Baha'is and their guest.

I'm looking forward to saying the Naw-Ruz prayer that was revealed by Baha'u'llah.
