Ghosts
Paranormal fiction writers are a diverse group of authors who create stories about the supernatural and unexplained. They write about ghosts, spirits, demons, vampires, werewolves, witches, and other creatures and phenomena that defy ordinary reality.

Some of the most famous paranormal fiction writers include H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Susan Hill, and Ambrose Bierce.

One of the things that attracts writers to the genre of paranormal fiction is that it allows them to explore our fears and curiosities about the unknown. Paranormal fiction stories can be both thrilling and terrifying, and also thought-provoking and introspective.

I love ghost stories. When you write one, you're creating an atmosphere of shadows and cool breath on the back of your neck, dark hallways with wispy cobwebs and the creakings of old floorboards.

I've written several, and every time I do, I get immersed in the feelings they give me. It is so much fun. Give it a try. You can even start it with,
It was a dark and stormy night.
