Secrets

Originally written for a contest with a 1,000 word limit, this story has undegone two re-writes.

The second, revised, version was written for yet another contest, also with a word restriction.

The final, extended version is the one worth reading.

I'm only saving all three versions because of the re-write contest that required the posting of the original and the re-written stories. As of this time, after six weeks, this Newsletter contest still is not judged, so the stories have to stay in my port.
