A poem of an Australian bird "The Kookaburra" and his ability to catch his meal |
| ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** A KOOKABURRA'S BREAKFAST 'Way up high in the tree he'll perch Surveying his domain with pride. Below, the snake, on his frantic search, Looks for a safe place to hide. He laughs out loud, lifts his head to the sky The snake cannot sense him, below. He swoops down fast --- so glad he can fly " One reptile breakfast --- to go!" Back up in the tree, sheltered from rain He searches, eyes darting around. Kookaburra laughs out loud again, Lunch is now due to be found! . . |
