A color poem I did for school that I didn't think was too bad. |
| Green Green, it glistens, glints and glimmers, sparkles, shines, and even shimmers. Green is soft, wet, dewy grass, an emerald twinkling in the sun reflecting light; a precious glass. Oh, how green gives off an air of fun, like when the summer has just begun! A green leaf lightly, gently, softly, whirls and twirls, falls to the ground. Lands so serene, without a sound. A brand new sprout of a young flower is a precious gem of hope That blooms and grows just when we feel that we're nearing the end of our rope. Next time you're out, watch green leaves tremble, and lay in the soft, soft grass. It may resemble your heart's very idea of bliss, and as you lay, just think of this. Let your worried thoughts that stir your mind slow, and let your dreams unwind. Take in the beauty all around, for it was waiting, waiting, to be found. And now at last, as the beauty unfurls, before your eyes this color whirls. Watch green shine and watch it shimmer, and feel your life, it too a precious gem, Take on its own meaning and begin to glimmer |
