Have No Fear

An inspirational poem about the men and women we look up to: our heroes.

Have no fear - a failure does not lead to death;
It simply takes a toll on our pride and confidence. 
You need only look at history’s greatest examples
Of courage and determination:
These men and women are our heroes,
The people we look up to.
They did not give in to pressure and
The potential for bodily harm that they faced
But simply did what they did
Knowing it was the right thing to do.
No one is saying that we are all born
With this gift for heroism,
Only that it has been, and will continue to be,
An inspiration to us all.
So when you dig for truth and hit a roadblock,
Keep digging, and keep asking for help,
Because help is most likely on the way! 
For humanity will continue to survive,
Continue to beat the odds,
And continue to praise others
For all the good that they do.
And we are all a part of humanity…
