in the stillness,
adrift in misery,
abandoning all the chatter,
healing.

Reaching
for a prayer,
an anchor in the dark,
something moves in the quietude,
listen.

A word
from the heavens
requires an act of will,
God bending to your surrender,
freeing.

Willing
to be silent
stirs a subtle whisper
of a sweeter grace, not rupture,
joining.

Moving
with a wordless
unspoken thanksgiving,
as language ends, wisdom begins,
learning.
