Vampire Dreams

A Hallowe'en Samisen

Sleepless nights are haunted by vampire dreams.
Vampire dreams
consuming ev’ry moment, vampire dreams
that come in the night for my soul,
burning with such heated desire,
yearning to quench eternal thirst,
intense as a roaring bonfire,
vampire dreams.

Taunted by vague mem’ries of vampire dreams,
vampire dreams
flooding my days with these vile vampire dreams
running rampant through each moment.
Blood pulsing through veins seeks release
as my ravaged soul aches for swift
relief to make the torment cease,
vampire dreams.

Seduced by mesmerizing vampire dreams,
vampire dreams
saturating my spirit, vampire dreams
caressing the depths of my soul,
Ravishing my very being,
draining all my energy
without any hope of fleeing--
vampire dreams.
