a poem celebrating the wonder of women, pregnancy and birth. |
| The moon glows satin cream icing. Angels sprinkle dew awaken sleeping seeds. Nature shakes off old coats new births burst forth proudly. Precious child tucked beneath my heart. I make a holy promise to cradle you safely in my seas. Blessed, rich but humble, perfection entrusted to me. Motherly senses arrive, my tiny hummingbird draws sweet nectar. This love is honor. I offer food, warmth, shelter built by love. I gaze in awe, this flawless child. God smiles and laughs. Angels applaud His perfection. A novice star announces new life Rainbows paint the sky.
