Rhythmically rhyming recreationally revised and written.

Through the oaken doors of age
you pass, and see an open page.
Upon this simple loose leaf note,
is something special that I wrote.

A poem or two, sketched out and framed,
beginnings that are without their names.
And there! upon the shelf, a book.
You take it down to have a look.

You hold it by it's thick cracked spine,
and see inside a poem of mine.
You take a seat by window's light,
and start to read 'till late at night.
