Darkness Sea- Return

The one that provided escape from the Darkness Sea is gone, and he must Return.

I stand beside the Darkness Sea
And look upon your face
Glance back at the waters black
Then slowly step away

The waters crash upon my feet
As many times before
Pull me back into their depths
Consuming me once more

Again the Darkness fills my lungs
And ends my short respite
Drives away the warmest air
Fills my soul with blight

I never wanted to Return,
To the Darkness Sea
Now I've lost my place on land
The only place that I could be

So watch me as I sink again
Deep beneath the waves
Know that you had pulled me up
If only for a single day
