| Gods are but the dreams of man, Sailing through on the winds of time, Destined for the infamy of liars. They stop time and again, And persuade more to follow, To live as another man has decided is fit. To drink the lies like wine, And be promised no ill upon a new day. They breeze on, Unabated, Unmolested, Free to do as they see fit, Angry if you do not do the same. Imaginary beings with more power than any man, Feared and revered by men, As eternal as mankind. Liars. Created by us, And we created in their image. |
