Battered and bruised by the wreckage
of abandoned hope and dying dreams,
forever lost at sea.

Desperately seeking The North Star
to guide the spirit upwards
from the depths of despair.

Drowning in this endless sea of tears,
grasping for an anchor in this hurricane
that is My Life.

Cold, exhausted,
numb, and abandoned
to the fickle whims of Fate.

Silently screaming for the warmth
of another's touch,
