A simple poem came from an idea by a boy in Sunday school.

I cannot calm the raging sea
But I know a man who can;
I cannot make honey like a bee
But I know a man who can;
I cannot make the lame to walk
and cannot make the dumb to talk
But I know a man who can;
I cannot make a mountain tall
But I know a man who can;
I cannot make an insect small
But I know a man who can;
I cannot make it rain one drop
and cannot make rice crispies pop
But I know a man who can;
Now I cannot take your sins away
But I know a man who can;
I cannot hear you when you pray
But I know a man who can;
This man is Jesus Christ, the Son,
And he loves us every one;
Yes, Jesus Christ is the man,
Jesus Christ - the man who can!
