a poem about the wisdom of the very young |
| Heart’s So Big Heart’s so big You can touch the sky You know right when you hear it You just don’t know why Heart’s so big Yet you’re home all alone The times may have forgotten But can the times be wrong? World trapped in a diaper With the top taped tight You may not know the answer But you might be right You’re only five years old And the story’s almost written You know what this is Yet no one will listen Heart’s so big And the heart don’t lie The devil’s in the details Just the devil knows why |
