The Struggle

desire, need, longing, and so much more ;)

Heat flowing through my limbs
Need clouding my mind making it dim
Fogging my senses
Breaking down my defenses
What is happening?
My head is filled with constant ringing
I need to…. 
I want to….
But I can’t speak through my terror and delight
Could it be that delight could cause such fright?
And yet it is more, emotions crashing around me like the tide
Taking over creating fluttering sensation deep inside
Every limb claiming exhaustion from my mental strain
And the heated liquid boiling through my veins
I take a breath then another
Covering my mouth trying to smother
The ragged sounds
And my hearts beating pounds
My need my craving
Just to be near you and to hold you nearly sends my will caving
Oh what power you hold
And how I can be controlled
With just one look
My heart you took
Now I must go through this night alone
And how I am to survive the rest, remains unknown
