Love in the real world. |
Shakespearean Sonnet ![]() Imagine you and me embracing there upon a bed of morning glory blooms. Just think about how very much I care concerning love we share within these rooms. Despite mundane responsibilities, like paying monthly bills and whacking weeds, we make the time to pray upon our knees and then go out to plant some pansy seeds. A hamper full of dirty laundry calls, and leaking faucets need attention, too. We balance work and play between these walls. I cherish time together here with you. This love we have is not some fairy tale. It’s firmly grounded in our shared travail. Notes on the English Sonnet form of poetry ▶︎ |
