Just stream of consciousness

A sentence cannot be long enough

to express my discontent

about these colorful conversations

that turn out to be irreverent

because although I feel

they must be stressed,

they leave this ordeal

stained across my chest.



It’s true meaning

lays between each pause

since it’s protected

under superficial flaws.

just turn to another day

and try to start anew

on the next page.
