What Cupid does all year. |
| So where does Cupid go for fun now that Valentine‘s Day is done? It may sound strange, but he likes sand, so he abides in coastal land. He likes to bask along the bay content and coy from day to day. A smile comes to his facade when he thinks of a reel and rod. Though real to him is heartfelt barb as he arrives in cherub garb. He feels the lure to fly above, but now the beaches are his love. It baits him, then, to spend the year where water and the land appear. Yet as he does he thinks on back to how he righted what was slack. Throughout the year he toes the line by keeping arrows tied with twine. Then up and down the beach he’ll flow collecting seashells on the go. But skimming sand is not enough for this pubescent powder puff. He’ll often cast an eager eye towards the sea when he is nigh. One day each year he comes on by to urge...ahem...and rouse the fly. But when he’s done with our amour, he seeks the beach for fish and more. 28 Lines |
