The Nile River is deep.
Lets go for a pleasant refreshing dip.
I read in a book or watched
a program on TV about how
the giant stone blocks for the
pyramids were floated on barges
down the river. Maybe these
books or programs were wrong
and they carried the cut blocks
for miles. Even so, I bet
the men and women who
constructed the Egyptian
monuments in that scorching desert
were more than happy to leap
nude in the river Nile. It's
a big river and many people still
like to spend time in the river,
Some decide the Nile is frightening,
Others find it comforting,
Some never get out,
Sine like denial just fine.
